The Beginning

Welcome to Fortitude Chess, founded by Nisha Patkar, a dedicated FIDE Instructor with a lifelong love for the game since the age of seven. Nisha has always been passionate about playing, promoting, and teaching this wonderful game, helping students develop both their chess skills and their confidence.

The Vision

Fortitude Chess was founded in 2019 with the vision of spreading the knowledge of chess from the grassroots level. When the pandemic hit, the academy expanded into the online space to make quality chess training accessible to students everywhere.

The Global Community

Today, Fortitude Chess offers an easy-to-use online learning platform with group classes, individual lessons, and crash courses designed for players of all levels. Our students come from across the world, including the Australia, Canada , China , Germany , Malaysia, Singapore , UAE, UK and USA.
